Autumn Evening for Autism

A sold out house at NEXT in Stittsville Thursday evening raised much needed funds for QuickStart, an Ottawa program that gives young children with autism early intervention that changes the course of their lives.    The program is spreading across the country.   1 in about 60 children born will be diagnosed with autism.  QuickStart ensures they are diagnosed as early as possible and receive treatment.  Suzanne Jacobson is the Founder.   Senator Jim Munson was a special guest.

I was honoured to be the emcee.  A video with attendees and two mothers of children with autism can be found in THE YOUR BACKYARD SEGMENT.
