National Fiddling Day - May 20th

SATURDAY, MAY 20TH IS NATIONAL FIDDLING DAY.  IT'S AN ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF THE FIDDLE, WHICH PLAYED A BIG ROLE IN CANADA'S HISTORY.   TO MARK OUR 150TH BIRTHDAY THE CANADIAN GRAND MASTER FIDDLERS ASKED SOME OF ITS MEMBERS TO COMPOSE A FIDDLE TUNE FOR OUR PRIME MINISTERS, 1968 TO PRESENT DAY.   OTTAWA FIDDLER AND MUSIC TEACHER SHERRYL FITZPATRICK COMPOSED THE PRIME MINISTER TRUDEAU WALTZ, WHICH SHE PREFORMED IN THE 1310 STUDIO.
