This week I had the opportunity to meet an amazing young Ottawa musician. Sarah Scriver is just 16. She started playing guitar 3 years ago as a way to cope with being bullied at school. Sarah endured a lot, including sustaining a concussion after being thrown into some lockers. She was forced to leave school to mend and heal. That's when she threw herself into music. Today she is a singer-songwriter and anti-bullying advocate. She tells her story through her original music. She played two songs from her EP Mind over Matter during her visit to our studio. Enjoy.
